Our admission desk is open to all students irrespective of colour, creed, caste, etc. First come First served is our policy. Normally the admission to NCVT courses are accepted during the months of May, June, and July as per the availability of the seats.
The students shall visit our institute and fill up a form to understand their passion for a trade. They are, then, taken for a tour of our campus to familiarize with the various trades and laboratories. Once they are familiar with the campus and decide on the type of trade they would be interested to join, they could buy the Prospectus. There would be an admission test, date of which would be within a week or two. All the students who buy are normally intimated about the date of this test.
It is mandatory for all the students to attend a counselling session during which their trade would be decided based on the test result. It is beneficial to the students and their parents to make a firm decision on the type of trade they would be joining. In the past, it has been found that few of the students change their choice of trade and due to administrative reasons, such changes could not be accommodated. Further, such candidates would deny other eligible students their opportunity to take up that trade.
Once the admission to the course has been confirmed during the counselling session, it is expected of the students to pay the first installment of the fees and submit all the required documents along with the fees within ONE week from the date of counselling or before such date as announced by the Institute. Incomplete applications shall not be accepted. Students shall collect uniform cloth and make arrangements to stitch them before the commencement of the classes.
The normal commencement date is immediately after the completion of the final examinations conducted by the DGT, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India. However, the Institute shall intimate the commencement date. Students with their parents shall come to the Institute for the first day – a day of orientation.
Admission to the ATP (Advanced Training Program) shall take place intermittently, depending on the type and duration of the program based on the candidates’ needs. There are fresh candidates who have to learn for a year before they appear for a Trade Test. The technically qualified candidates can complete the course in less time and appear for the trade test. The experienced technically qualified candidates might need a short time for revision and practice before they appear for the trade test. The candidates’ needs dictate the terms and conditions.
